Four Dukes posted double figures kills and digs to help lead Duquesne (12-8, 2-3) to a 3-1 victory over visiting George Washington (11-9, 2-3) in an Atlantic 10 match Saturday evening at the Palumbo Center.

Sarah Morrow and Stephanie Hopkins posted 13 kills to lead the Red & Blue while Diana Wuebker and Jacqui Gerlach each added 10 attacks. Morrow led the Dukes with a career-best 21 digs and posted a match-best three service aces. Wuebker posted a personal-best 20 digs. Hopkins added 16 and Gerlach 14 digs for the double-doubles. Cristy Gustas recorded a career-best 31 assists and added seven digs as well.

The Colonials were led by Lindsey Vernand with 15 kills while Ruth Lazzari posted a match-best 24 digs.

George Washington captured game one 30-28 before the Dukes rallied for three straight winning 30-25, 30-19 and 30-27 for the victory.

Duquesne is back in action next Saturday traveling to Fordham for a 7:00 pm match.
