Volleyball Falls to Dayton, 3-0

DAYTON - The Duquesne volleyball team fell to 12-8, 2-3 after their 3-0 (25-14, 25-18, 25-14) loss to Dayton Friday night. Nicole Wright led the Dukes with eight kills, Amy Palko had a team-best 13 digs and Sarah Svorinic recorded 23 assists for DU who dropped their third consecutive match. The Flyers (17-2, 6-0) only trailed two times the entire match - twice early on in the second set. UD has won seven matches in a row and eight of their last 10.
Duquesne visits Xavier Saturday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
