Loretto, Pa. - Duquesne University's volleyball team got back on the winning track in a non-conference match Friday afternoon with a 3-0 shut out over St. Francis. The individual game scores were 30-20, 30-27 and 30-11.

The Dukes were led by junior Stephanie Hopkins (Tonawanda, N.Y. / Sweet Home) who slammed 13 kills and saved 15 digs. Senior Erin Trageser (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Baldwin) added 10 kills. Junior Diana Wuebker (St. Henry, Ohio / St. Henry) had game-bests of 17 digs and three blocks. Junior Karisa Decker (Pittsburgh, Pa. / North Allegheny) had 12 digs. Freshman Kristin Garnett (Frankfort, Ill. / Lincoln-Way East) again averaged double-digits in assists with 43 (14.3 apg) on Friday.

The Red Flash (3-22) were led by Nichole Hyer with eight kills and Anne Roosevelt with 15 digs.

Duquesne (10-13, 2-5 A-10) heads to Washington, D.C. for an Atlantic 10 contest with George Washington (4-15, 1-6 A-10) on Saturday, Oct. 23rd at 7:00 p.m. at the Smith Center.
