Volleyball Blanks Robert Morris 3-0

PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne volleyball team (19-8) closed out its non-conference schedule on Tuesday night with a 3-0 victory against cross-town rival Robert Morris (11-14) at the Palumbo Center. The scores of the sets were 25-15, 25-14, 25-20.
Allison Foschia returned to the lineup with a match-high 18 kills and hit .600, which tied the individual season-high with Ashley Buse (8/25, New Mexico). Her 18 kills was also a 3-set individual season-best. Nora Young recorded a team-high 10 digs while hitting .500. Mary Henry had a match-best 39 assists and Arielle Love had 12 kills and hit .579. As a team, the Dukes tied a season by hitting .488 (8/31, Norfolk State). The Dukes return to Atlantic 10 Conference play this weekend when they travel to two of the top three teams in the league in Xavier (15-9, 7-2) on Friday and Dayton (17-4, 9-1) on Saturday.
