Women's Volleyball Earns 20th Win After Defeating Rhode Island 3-0

PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne volleyball team got back on the winning track Friday night after a 3-0 shutout of Rhode Island at the Palumbo Center. The set scores were 25-8, 25-11, 25-18. The Dukes defense, who recorded 12 blocks, held the Rams to -.008 hitting. Arielle Love had a match-high 15 kills and hit .609. Mary Henry recorded 38 assists. Allison Foschia tied a season-high with 20 digs. Patti Abshire had 18 digs. As a team, DU hit .340 which included swinging at a .448 mark in the first set. Duquesne (20-10, 7-5 A-10) will host Fordham on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Duquesne at Xavier
