Volleyball Clinches A-10 Championship Berth After 3-1 Win Over Fordham

PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne volleyball team clinched its third straight Atlantic 10 Championship berth after defeating Fordham 3-1 on Sunday afternoon. After dropping the first set 25-23, the Dukes came back to win the next three 25-22, 25-13 and 25-19. Taylor Lockett had a career-high 16 kills while hitting .423. Arielle Love had 12 kills and hit .417 plus eight blocks. Marah Farage recorded 10 kills and hit .304. Patti Abshire had a team-high 14 digs and Allison Foschia added 13 digs. Mary Henry had a double-double of 13 digs and 44 assists. Fordham's Randi Ewing had a match-high 17 kills and added nine blocks (3 solo). The regular season wraps up on Saturday against George Washington at 4:00 p.m. Fordham at Duquesne
