Dukes Drop Match At Xavier, 3-1

Cincinnati, Ohio - Duquesne University's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 match (30-24, 30-24, 25-30, 30-22) to Xavier Saturday at XU's Cintas Center. Sophomore Stephanie Hopkins led the Dukes with 13 kills and 14 digs while freshman Avery Dunn had 21 assists and 15 digs.
XU's Kate Duchet had a game-best 14 kills and Marisa Main set up 45 assists.
Duquesne is now 12-16, 5-7 in the Atlantic 10 while Xavier improved to 11-14, 5-6 in league play. The Dukes close out the regular season next weekend when they host Temple on Friday, Nov. 14 at 7:00 p.m. and La Salle on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 5:00 p.m. Both matches will be at the Palumbo Center.
