Dukes Fall to League-Leading Dayton 3-0

Duquesne suffered a 3-0 fall at League-leading Dayton Friday night in Atlantic 10 action. The Dukes' Leah Mayo paced the squad with 11 digs while Jenni Gross led DU with nine kills.
The loss puts the Dukes at 11-20 overall, 4-8 in A-10 action while Dayton's win a share of the regular-season title with their 21-7 overall record and 11-1 Conference mark.
Dayton's Jamie-Lee Richards and Faye Barhorst led the match with 17 kills each while Nicole Bateman had 12 digs.
The Flyers held a 43-32 advantage in digs and out-hit the Dukes .398 (65-18-18) to .144 (31-17-97).
Dayton took the sweep winning 30-18, 30-16, 30-24.
Duquesne closes out the regular season Saturday at Xavier in a 2:00 pm match.
