Dukes Bow to Billikens, 3-1

The Duquesne volleyball team wrapped up its home portion of the schedule with a 3-1 loss to visiting Saint Louis on Senior Night Saturday evening at Palumbo Center. Individual game scores were 20-30, 26-30, 31-29, and 26-30.
Kristin Garnett, Jenni Gross, Lindsay Hess and Dana McLaughlin each played their last home match for the Red and Blue as the Dukes fell to 10-18 overall and wrapped up Atlantic 10 play at 2-11.
Sophomore Jessica Artman led DU with 19 kills and a .344 hitting percentage. Freshman Nicole Wright followed with 18 kills while fellow frosh Amy Palko had 23 digs. Garnett paced the Red and Blue with 54 assists.
The Dukes wrap up the 2007 season tomorrow, Sunday, November 11 as they travel to West Virginia for a 2:00 pm match with the Mountaineers.
