Volleyball Finishes Regular Season with 3-0 Victory Over La Salle

PHILADELPHIA - The Duquesne volleyball team snapped a four-match losing streak on Saturday afternoon with a 3-0 shutout victory over La Salle. The scores of the sets were 25-12, 25-18, 25-14. With the win, the Dukes finish the 2011 regular season 18-12 overall and 8-7 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Liz Homan had a match-best 10 kills, Patti Abshire recorded a match-high 17 digs and Taylor Jones led the match with 31 assists. The 2011 Atlantic 10 Championship seedings will be released after tomorrow's matches have been completed. Duquesne at La Salle
