The Dukes' women's volleyball team ended their 2003 regular season with a 3-0 sweep over visiting La Salle Saturday evening at the Palumbo Center. It was Senior Night for Duquesne as Sarah Brown, Cristy Gustas, Jill McQuellon and Sarah Morrow played in the final match of the Duquesne career.

Morrow ended her career in style leading the match with 17 kills and adding 17 digs. Brown racked-up a match-best 41 assists while Gustas registered three digs and McQuellon posted six kills and two blocks.

Stephanie Hopkins added 11 kills and a team-best 18 digs in the win while Diana Wuebker and Ashley Macko each landed 10 kills. Wuebker led the match with five blocks.

La Salle was led by Lauren Woods with 13 kills and Carolyn Judge with 22 digs.

Duquesne took game one 30-27 behind solid hitting as they boasted a .333 (23-6-51) hitting percentage. Game two came down to the wire with DU edging out the Explorers 32-30 before capping off the match with a 30-25 decision in game three.

The Dukes ended the season 13-17 overall, 6-8 in Atlantic 10 play.

Brown ends her career as Duquesne's all-time assists leader with 4,180 while Morrow stands first in block assists (308); second in kills (1,174) and total blocks (388) and sixth in career digs (1,071).
