(Atlantic10.com) PITTSBURGH - Temple did something no other team was able to accomplish this season --beat Duquesne on its home court.
The fifth-seeded Owls pulled the minor upset, defeating No. 4 Duquesne 3-2 (19-25, 25-10, 25-19, 17-25, 15-10) Friday in the second quarterfinal of the 2012 Atlantic 10 Volleyball Championship at the A.J. Palumbo Center. Temple advances to face top-seeded Dayton Saturday at 3:30 pm in Saturday's first semifinal.
