Volleyball Hosts West Virginia in Annual Dig for the Cure Match Today

PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne University volleyball team will once again help in the fight against breast cancer with their "Dig for the Cure" program to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Duquesne's selected "Dig for the Cure" match for the 2008 season is today when the Dukes host West Virginia at 1:00 p.m. Sponsors can pledge money per dig earned by Duquesne in the match, or can make a flat donation. The money raised goes directly to the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Komen Foundation.

This season marks the fourth time the Duquesne volleyball team has taken part in the "Dig for the Cure" program. Overall, the Dukes have raised over $9,700 for the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
