DU Defeats Four of Five at Duquesne Duals

The Duquesne women's cross country team opened its 2004 season by defeating four of five opponents at the Duquesne Duals. The Dukes defeated Pitt, Saint Joseph's, St. Bonaventure and CMU while bowing to West Virginia. Freshmen Samantha Howard and Amy Ruffolo led the Dukes and finished seventh and eighth overall with times of 18:27 and 18:28. DU placed five runners in the top 15 of the 77-woman race.
