Dukes Takes Second Place At Lock Haven

Lock Haven, Pa. - Duquesne University women's cross-country team grabbed second place among 15 teams at Saturday's Lock Haven Invitational. Senior Carrie Hucko again paced the Dukes with a time of 23:07.67 which was good for 11th place among the 152 athletes.

Duquesne had four other runners in the top 25 with sophomore Elizabeth Graham at 13th, junior Michelle Flynn at 15th, junior Amy Tucker at 17th and sophomore Tara Gerlach in 23rd place.

West Virginia won the competition taking six of the first seven places.

The Dukes return to action next Saturday, Oct. 4th, when they will compete in the La Salle Invitational in Philadelphia, Pa. at 3:00 p.m.
