Women's Cross Country Places 14th of 48 at Lehigh's Paul Short Invite

Duquesne's women's cross country team placed 14th of 48 teams at Lehigh University's Paul Short Invitational. The Red and Blue finished one spot behind Wake Forest and also trailed schools such as Alabama, Penn State, West Virginia and Georgetown.
Freshman Valerie Palermo led the Dukes, finishing in 57th place in the 406-runner field with a time of 21:28. She was followed by senior Amber Valimont in 64th place in 21:32, senior Haley Pisarcik in 64th place in 21:32, junior Danica Snyder in 97th place in 21:56 and junior Elise Farris in 114th place in 21:58.
The Dukes return to action on Saturday, October 19th as they compete in the Princeton Invitational.
