CONCORD, N.C. - Danica Snyder was named the conference Rookie of the Year as the Duquesne women's cross country team finished sixth out of 14 teams at the 2011 Atlantic 10 Championship held at Frank Liske Park in Concord, N.C. on Saturday.

Snyder finished 18th in the field of 128 runners at the 5k course with a time of 18:09.6. Teammate Meg Ecker, who was ninth overall with a time of 17:48.7, was named to the All-Conference team.

La Salle finished first with 69 points in front of second place Dayton (84) and third place Charlotte (92). Richmond (99) was fourth followed by Saint Joseph's (132) and the Dukes (144).
