BRONX, N.Y. - The Duquesne women's cross country team finished fifth out of 11 teams that competed in the 2011 ECAC Cross Country Championship on Saturday at Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, N.Y.

The Dukes finished with 134 points, behind Iona (56), La Salle (83), Syracuse (95) and James Madison (108). DU's average time was 18:28.

Meg Ecker (18:01) and Amber Valimont(18:03) finished ninth and 10oth respectively in the 93-runner field.
