Dukes Take 15th at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional

The Duquesne women's cross country team closed out its 2004 season taking 15th out of 24 squads at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional hosted by Penn State. Junior Tara Gerlach led the Dukes scoring at 76th in the 171 competitor field. The Dukes finished one spot ahead of George Washington (16th) edging out the Colonials by two points (481 to 483).

Gerlach was followed by freshmen Samantha Howard and Amy Ruffolo who placed 92nd and 100th respectively. Rounding out the top six for the Red & Blue were junior Rebecca Sterns (109); junior Brianne Scott (112); and junior Lauren Boehm (140).
