Dukes Ranked #8 in Mid-Atlantic Region

PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne women's cross country team moved up two spots to #8 in the latest US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Mid-Atlantic Region poll released Oct. 1. This is the highest the Dukes have been ranked in the history of the program.

DU is coming off three excellent races - a 6-1 record at the Duquesne Duals (9/1), a third place finish at the 37-team National Catholic Championship (9/14) and a 15th place finish of 47 teams at Paul Short Invitational this past weekend. The XC team will compete in the NCAA Pre-Nationals on Oct. 13 before the Atlantic 10 Championships Oct. 27.
