DU Women Ranked 15th In Mid-Atlantic Region

Duquesne University's women's cross-country team has moved to 15th place in the Mid-Atlantic Regional rankings following two second place finishes in the Dukes' last two competitions, the Lock Haven Invitational and Penn State's Spiked Shoe Invitational.
Senior Carrie Hucko (Wexford, Pa./ North Allegheny/ Miami-OH) led the Red and Blue in both meets. Her time of 23:07.67 was good for 11th place among the 152 athletes at Lock Haven while her mark of 22:49.35 took 21st place among 157 runners at the Spiked Shoe.
The Dukes are competing on Saturday, Oct. 4 at the La Salle Invitational at 3:00 p.m. at the Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia, Pa. Four other A-10 squads are also ranked -- La Salle, Saint Joseph's and George Washington with all but St. Joe's running in the Explorer's event on Saturday.
